As the built environment contribute up to 40% of global energy used, and that cities now host more than half of the world’s population, buildings need to be understood fully, so that solutions in regards to more sustainable approaches can be catered for. The GCLI recognises this challenge and looks at future trends in the built industry to locate opportunities and to propose solutions that can be better tuned to future growths.
